Dax UK time today
Just to show that not all days have wonderful swings/trends.
Long into various overhead levels got a smack on the hand - loss.
Short cutting through black dashed line ( Squirrels box - np you work it out) to other side of box worked out fine as target was assisted by smaller bar warnings of loss of momentum.
Long towards mid squirrel and 200ma was a trade I thought I could manage with trailing stop behind low of rising candles. Big Red reversal candle knocked that on the head - loss.
Short towards bottom of squirrels box worked okay - hit previous level on the left and smaller candles warning of loss of momentum.
Last trade long worked with trailing stop since candles sliced neatly through levels and stopped me out in profit as candle closed other side of channel around 9:51am and hit BRN and Asia Low and done for the day.
These lines aren't magic. Just places to watch price action having seen reactions around those levels in the past - doesn't always work which is why you manage your trade. - get paid even if you leave more on the table.
EDIT: Forgot too mention -notice those long whips candles around the open -I find it best to wait until things calm down
( but I probably made the first trade too early
)

Using the 2min as filter.........thats all...

But heres a few Oil charts from London with the areas I use for Context/Confluences
WHat I do want to point out is how the 1min and 2min ALIGN...thats what I really want to see
when entering... THe London charts show it perfectly and the US charts (screenshot just now)
show WHY I am not looking for a trade at this current moment.... Waiting for alignment and then a signal.
Just my view my take on RoadMap ..havent mentioned much the 1min -2min confluence so thought i would
show more what I do and maybe it helps someone else...No right or wrong only what works fore each of us,

Edit: ALignment of the 1min chart and 2min is referring to the 8 ema channel in relation to the 200
I like to see the 200 aligned on both timeframes. If you cant use Tradingview then use mt5 for a 2min chart
