Leading indicators are not superior to lagging indicators. You can lose a lot of money with leading indicators just as with lagging indicators.
When you use leading indicators, they can mislead you and you will experience a lot of fake-outs.

If we combine leading indicators together with lagging indicators and coincident indicators, then this is part of a recipe for success in making short-term investing decisions.

So those who know me here will know I don’t use an SL unless I’m in 30-50 pips profit

it’s over 200 pips from my b/e and yes it’s risky going ahead however I have been in this situation many times. I will cut my losses later if we get to 128.

although I will look for below 126 for potential take a hit and go long if there is sign of a reversal

...I have regular bearish div still on 2hr and 4hr @ current dly hi, with 30min (not 1hr) o/b. There is a pattern of 15min bullish hidden div @ current p/back lo which may stay valid whilst above 2649. Of course on any deeper p/back 30min/1hr of same could develop - and may be valid whilst price above 2607.

That 15min bullish hidden div came @ 38.2% of the day's current lo-hi move.
