You can say this trade failed
This strategy is so good because you can exit when price broke the bottom of the box with a little profit or wait to be stopped out with a tiny loss of 4 pips after gaining a few dozen along the trading day

But you really can't blame him. Remember, you said if it goes higher you would have to sell a kidney. He probably prefers you taking your loss than selling your precious kidney.
