First they ditch US treasuries. Now they ditch the dollars they had to sell the treasuries for.

Any idea what caused the big move up? I can’t see any data or news that could impact what looked like a trip down to 125 to a move towards 126?

In my opinion, it's because of the ranging conditions(just going back to high of the range), and perhaps a bit because of the uptrend.

Yes, it's technical analysis.
So the double bottom pattern according to the formula determined the resistance band.
And the double bottom was determined by the trend line...thats all...

So here is my wild ass guess.
1. I believe that the M, W, H&S and so on patterns that we see are the result of the market balancing pricing relationships between currency pairs.
2. Today in all the pairs there were a lot of these patterns starting to form which could potentially be problematic for the market to resolve.
3, Todays action simply clears some of those patterns off the table.

Actually from a fundamental pov, BoE is the most probably candidate central bank to further hike. Pricing in this according last data and declarations.
