I think one of the worst feelings ever is relying on someone else's analysis, only for it to lead to loss and frustration. It's difficult to bank on another's analytical abilities. It's far easier (and more responsible) to educate ourselves and form our own perspective versus getting angry at a stranger online for being wrong.

G/M, so far today, upside follow-thru on Fri's bullish hammer dly candle to near top of the prev 1hr/4hr sw hi zone that extends up to 2512 where supply kicked in, a false 1st upside b/o of the Asian hi and current dly hi just above last wk's 2505 hi. Asian lo remains the current dly lo presently.

There is no short cut.

...the move up this morning breached the dly desc t/line that joined 3142 with 2505 (last wk's hi) Next upside obstacle in this dly t/f is the prev sw hi zone that starts circa inbetween those 50% and 61.8% fibs shown on chart below, and extends up to 2548. Current dly hi is 2510.

Haha yeah, ever since I've joined this forum I've noticed that so many here are intraday traders. But 4HR & D1 timeframes seem to work best for me. I can't sit in front of my laptop for hours at a time, I have a dayjob. But also, at least for me personally, longer timeframes seem to offer a clearer view of a currency's direction. Trends are easier to see. I'll still make an intraday trade, but only if the wider scope of a D1 or W1 perspective confirms it. I try my best not to trade retracements, so I just go with the trend. It's lighter on my time and attention.

Hi. I think you make a good and fair point here WG. The truth here in this thread though, (and perhaps in the whole of this forum,?) is that a threaded forum is not the best place to provide trading signals in real-time. The timing is less sensitive on long-term trades than intraday trades of course. To be fair to Pat I don't think that he has ever said that he is providing a signals service, so his 'followers' act on their own risk, and he is under no obligation, like everyone else, to post every entry and exit he makes in as close to real-time as possible. Most here, post late calls, even by a few pips, they are not in real-time.

On the general point and what seems to be the central contention between so may here that argue with each other, I think we all need to accept what people post, whether it be a late call or a call in real-time, and indeed accept the results they post -until/unless- one can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that someone is fabricating things. For my own part (like others will too) I have my suspicions of who is fabricating, and one in particular has, over the years made too many mistakes/contradictions in their posts to continue to give a 'reasonable' doubt to, but that's only my suspicion based on some evidence. I will not name that poster though as for one, I don't care, and secondly, I can't prove it beyond a reasonable doubt.
