The "Market Makers" I'm talking about are the big league fundamental power player banks and billionaires who control worldwide economies who are in on international financial policies, and use options trading and every other crooked trading method on the books to work price action to go with their policies. For example, Jerome Powell is a puppet face for the Feds. He says what they want him to say, for the purpose of moving the markets according to their policies. It's a whole strategy game like chess, thinking many moves ahead, improvising on every turn. The U.S. Feds are only one facet of the above mentioned global market makers.
They are always facing opposition. They don't always work together. Some try to take over. Think of it as a strategy game between big league players who control international markets. The more money they can move, the more control they have over price action. The game "Risk: Global Domination" is a good example of this.
There is always somebody trying to be the top dog to control it all.
All this might seem like a fairy tale to ya. But what if it's not??

I am actually a master of the game "Risk: Global Domination".
Been playing it for 15 years. That's the equivalent of maybe a couple lifetimes (a couple hundred years) of Forex trading.
Now, after trading for 4 years, I remember back when I had this amateur level of skill in playing that game. So, give me a another decade or two, and I just might become a Forex top dog myself.

i dont think he'll have much effect ..the dollar is a sell so will keep going down...might speed up its descent thats all cause banks will use it as an excuse

i did this long long time ago...forex factory supplies you the dates of his previous speeches...other than the fed announcement and press conference he doesnt say or do much of anything to whip around the dollar....so pull up a chart of whatever you like and highlight those dates and see what his luncheon speeches do besides give him flatulance


the best part of FF is the news window since it has lots of info on it

Actually every broker is a market maker.

The term also refers to the computerized trading system which executes 'its' own trades to move price profitably between open orders. Again the definition of how the system works. 'Control of this trading system moves from exchange to exchange around the planet daily (Sydney, Tokyo, Frankfurt, London and NewYork primarily).

From the link you provided these groups are also considered market makers:
Traders do not interact directly with the exchange – they interact with clearing house members, usually futures brokers, who pass contracts and margin payments on to the exchange. Clearing house members are directly responsible for initial margin and variation margin requirements at the exchange even if their clients default on their obligations, so they may require more initial margin (but not variation margin) from their clients than is required by the exchange to protect themselves. All the more reason for a new yearly low happening this year. Why? Because retail chartists and technical traders don't expect it. Do you actually think the power players would want us to know that or see it coming? No.

Price gets there and you might as well forget about any trigger for longs. Momentum will be gone and it will just continue on downwards to October' low.

US central bank is done with rate hikes in this economic cycle.
US 2-year yields plunge.

Jerry games, : never try and guess what’s he’s thinking. There will be hawkish fed speak soon to talk this back down .. it’s a game called "Jerry Games".

Things have changed in line with the chart, that I read.

1.2297 is high for tomorrow.

From there a good drop is to be expected for Friday.

1.2200 or more ?

Let me not predict.

Since the US moved off of the gold standard it has been obvious that the US debt would never be repaid. The only question is what replaces the current system and when? How long will the planet allow the US debt to simply grow?

Not so fast sir. My entries are done on an everyday basis. My trades are highly dynamic and that's a reason I am profitable. As in, very profitable. Tomorrow my entry for long will change. But as for long, I will be long November and December from strategic places. I will also scalp shorts from strategic places.
