Too much assumption going on in this thread

everyone has an idea but no one has a clue , all the pretty charts, indicators and predictions mean absolutely diddly squat.

Then there are those who wish to give us a page of what already happened , as if we did not already know.


For xxxx sake just follow what your seeing and stop all this nonsense.

Trading is a reactive process in the time span we choose not a predictive process.

well assumptions are parts of a plan, since youre just anticipating what could happen in the future. Then if youre assumptions do come true, then you act accordingly.

you are not acting based on predictions per se but only if your prediction come close to what is in the chart then you trade according to your plan (which again based on assumptions etc)

Your "assumptions"-based trading is essentially guessing. Look at all of the guesses that get posted when price reaches some perceived "important zone" that price will turn now so trades are entered, and how often the guesses are wrong. And now with the trade in drawdown, the next "important zone" or "feature" has been reached, so now FOR SURE price will turn, and more trades enered. Yet price does not turn but contiues even further. Instead of this guess-after-guess, look at a SMALLER TFs to TELL you with a CONFIRMED 1-2-3 that at this small view, price has indeed turned, and only THEN look for an entry.

Sure, there are some traders that simply mitigate the wrong guesses by using tight stops rather than going into large drawdown. But then they must have large winning trades to offset all of those stopped trades.

You don't have to get in at the start of a new direction.

Trend trading via Dow Theory (larger wave comprises 3 smaller waves to produce a 1-2-3 pattern) is based on observations of this 1-2-3 pattern that Charles Dow described. It is not a guessing game, but rather is putting a well-established pattern to good use.

I got 1 trade wrong on Fri, lost 17pips on EU but had some great trades on FTSE, ES, and eur/gbp ---- Cant getem alll right and know i never will but The Best we can do is manage DD on the shit trades and maximise the good trades by pressing the shit outta them... Im sure at least 50% oof the people following this thread are FAKE accounts, i checked a few and they have all joined this month and last month, Some of them are actually following accounts from years back. I think its just to make the thread look busier, Who knows. The only real people are those who actually participate daily

Bro, too sensitive. Who cares? Life is way too short to get wrapped up in an 'on-line forum ignore'. On the importance scale the only reason to be even slightly concerned is if you want to be an online influencer and even those guys get ignores and dislikes!

id just like to add to my earlier quote the dollar will prolly fall to 103 now since the republicans cant get their act in order to govern in the house of representatives and with this delayed drop cause of the war will prolly undershoot now to 103 instead of the TA recommended 104

so wherever GU was when the dollar was at 103 is where it will be again...normally i would say by next month but with the ferocity dollar price showed friday it may be in a week LOL

My view(gut feeling) for monday can see 20-40 pips retracement then it'll fly again as we broke a important support on DXY..
Btw the last arrow up just to cover the gap which not sure how long gonna take........
So my plan is to short scalp on market open and then go long......

im not sure if I said it wrong but what I meant is im not trading based on assumptions, Im trading based on a plan where part of it are assumptions. I think its different. A plan is about what you will do in the future, and I said assumptions are just part of it, not the all of it. Like you, I also use confirmations before I enter a trade. My trade levels and directions are the weekly and daily, and then I rely on whats happening on 4hr and 1 hr chart before I enter a trade. Cheers!
