GU not been great past two weeks to be honest. I've mainly been trading Oil, FTSE and S&P. Much better price action. Used to only trade GU but this price action has forced me elsewhere for now.

Powell is quite clever, his tone is still hawkish and mentioned, the decision of no rate hike anymore is not gone... and also rate cut is not even on the table at all. So ISM numbers today was just a fire in the bush. For me it was first sign of interest rates working now.

Powell pushed the dollar up a bit, good job for the dollar. He just mentioned the power of US-Economy cause labor market is not showing any signs of cooling down. And they want steady numbers. If he ends his speech with that the dollar has gotten a big hit today but it will probably continue to get a bit stronger anyway, so GBP/USD still down.

He's trying to tone it into hawkish/neutral stance although most things are pointing to a weaker USD.
That's why the up down range.

Yes I guess so , because each time I find myself on the side of majority I pose and reflect, majority loose

i should try to trade commodities.
mastering forex was always my goal but perhaps its time to diversify

I was always against trading commodities or index's, infact, I was against trading anything other than GBP/USD until I "mastered" it. Nowadays I have a few commodities, a few index's and a few currencies in my watchlist. I check the daily to see if they have nice price action then they go on my intraday watchlist, then I just wait for my setup.

At least for me, more opportunities has meant less bad entries due to boredom and being able to avoid bad price action.
