At times, the floating goes upto 2 % of 100k.
If it goes like that, I would be happy to close all even if profit is 200 dollars.
In general, I take many basket of trades in a day.
Today, in asia, i tokk long and the floating went up to 900 dollars, I made 550 dollars. All this was made in just 17 pips range which i feel ok.
I called it as asia, done.
And if the loss goes above 3 % of 100k account, I quit trading for that day.
The theory that is taught to us is 0.5 % risk for each 1 lot size in prop trading industry.
Which is generally achieved.
And most importantly, if i make 1.5k to 2k in a day, I quit trading for that day
This is preserving profit made in a particular day.
