Sadly in Canada we still have Trudeau and his carbon tax so our gas prices will never get anywhere near $2 a gallon.
It is really sad how many people don't understand that we have a responsibility to do a better job at managing our environment but knee jerk responses like eliminating CO2 are insane! People need CO2 to breath (it tells your body in inhale!) and plants need CO2 to make O2! Areas that have high CO2 need to reduce CO2 levels. Manage the environment properly.

Plants consume carbon dioxide. Combustion engines (anything that requires diesel or petrol) give off carbon monoxide. There are no plant or animals that can consume carbon monoxide and survive. Naturally occuring CO2 is not the problem and no one with half a brain is saying it is.

Actually I have which is why I said we need to manage our environment.
Instead of simply declaring we have a problem, steps should be taken to figure out what the problem is, what the severity is and to come up with steps to remedy it. Nothing is done to measure local CO2 levels and figure out what locally appropriate levels are needed for the area. Rain forests that haven't been cut down actually turn greener with high CO2 levels.
The Ozone layer is a different problem because of the role that sunlight plays in managing the Ozone layer globally so local management is more difficult.
Most of the research that I have read panicking about CO2 levels points to the Hawaiian research station that is placed directly in the prevailing winds from India and China, two of the places in the world that are not managing their environment very well!

PLEASE, EDUCATE YOURSELF!!! No one with half a brain would consider carbon monoxide as a significant pollutant in combustion engine exhaust.

A little science that may interest you, CO actually becomes CO2 in a couple of months in the air from one of those who knows that most people only use 10% of our brains and is trying to use more.
