I don't think there was any manipulation, it was to be expected, the news only strengthened the direction.

If there had been content or data that was negative that would make sense. The data was weak for the British economy. suggesting it might be harder to raise rates and mildly stronger for the US economy.

Today, my first long was taken when price at 2177. Paid the price given 11 pips to the winner.

Again i took long when price was consolidating.

But this long may be winner.

sometimes the fundamental analysis says something else, and the technical analysis says something else.
this is difficult to reconcile.

Some people may find that a bit misleading. The H1 EMA200 = H4 EMA50. Similarly, H4 EMA200 = H1 EMA800.

What happened to the MTF EMAs? On that swing up, EMA25 turned up. But on the swing down, it turned back down. So as long as it is down, how could you be buying? In fact, a couple of bars after the swing high was a sell signal as EVERY TF from H4 through M1 were down.
