Price moves cannot be predicted. H8 was on a return down swing, so certainly COULD have continued down further. But it had already made a "good" return swing, so was in a position to start up. So, with either direction possible, it's best to follow lagging indicators and REACT to the direction that price has chosen to go rather than trying to guess the direction and start praying that it's the right one.

Unless you have been through swing reversals from a higher time frame perspective over and over you will never understand the magnitude of it. It seems like illogical and crazy moves on the smaller time frame. Take a step backwards and look at the daily time frame and you will start to see the same pattern and move you see when scalping on a smaller time frame. It takes bigger s/losses and smaller trades unless you have massive trading account. I am yet to see traders and more specifically scalpers get into long term swing trades here. I have seen this over and over since my presence here from 2017. Just a thought for traders wanting to get into longer term trading.
