as I see it, the price is currently at the H4 support, it will probably wait near this level until the news.

I am a retail trader and do not perceive price movements as random and upredicatable. I perceive them as the product of a deterministic "algorithm" described by a chaos model.

MMs meticulously orchestrate price fluctuations to lure and entrap unsuspecting retail traders. They exploit common trading biases and herd mentality, creating false breakouts, retracements, and whipsaws.
Even if this were true, it does not change the fact that the price movementsts are well modeled as deterministic using a chaos model. Hence, HOW the movements come about are irrelevant to me.

Relying solely on indicators places retail traders at a significant disadvantage. Indicators are inherently lagging, providing signals only after price has already moved. This delay can prove fatal, as MMs can swiftly reverse price direction, leaving indicator-reliant traders stranded on the wrong side of the market.

LAGGING INDICATORS are the heart of my system. I rely on the lag, because I can see that a direction has been established, and then can trade in that direction with very high probability of correct direction and the trade ending profitably.

As for the swift price reversals, it makes no difference what type of trading one uses, unless there is a rather small SL such that the sudden reversal ends the trade then if there is a large or no SL to weather the sudden reversal, it is highly likely any trader will be "stranded on the wrong side of the market".
