GBP/USD (4H): the price is now consolidating after the bearish momentum that occurred last week.
If the current support is broken, then we may see the continuation of the downtrend.

Still 70 more pips left to break either 1.2218 or 1.2118...
✓1.2218 minus 170 pips = 1.2048
✓1.2118 plus 170 pips = 1.2288

So either 1.2048 or 1.2288 is expected between Thursday - Friday... Bias is bearish.

It's not so much one leading the other but rather how the triad EU/GU/EG are CORRELATING in direction that is important (especially when viweing 2 TFs together, such as H1/H4) for choosing the best of the triad to trade. When EG does not match the other 2, simple enough to see if EUR is stronger than GBP so you then know which of EU or GU to choose. (It's far from rocket science--anybody can do it.)

Morning. So positive GBP news was not enough to shake us our of this range, and so the large down trend is still dominant. So, that means yesterdays plan can be attempted again today, looking for sells between 2172 - 2180
