Ohh, no one knows for sure, markets could bring unexpected.
1% DD not a disaster, decision is yours, but you have a few options -
1. Close short trade, put SL now and long
2. Keep short and hedge, open long double the short size
3. Take a loss, no matter what and enter short at y/high 2100-2200
5. Or none of the above, wait and see, you might be lucky, but you may risk your account, not advisable.

Good luck whatever the decision .

welp...i guess netayahoo read my post earlier that gold drops during war LOL..especially dropped from february 2022 when russia invaded ukie so i just read he's postponing the invasion for next week

Bro, i shorted gold few hours before market close, expecting to catch a move down on the monday opening, but price shooted up the last hour just before market close.
