Other half off doing work for Woodlands Trust, eldest son playing rugby against my old team Dartmouth (google if you want) and youngest son off on ship in navy and my daughter has her own family and I'm a little glad to get some time on my own, what I can't understand is why you have spent your day watching my online activities..., what's you purpose of your first post? do you want to start fighting again which is strange as you've ask for me not to respond to you posts ...I'm confused please enlighten me or if anyone else could share some light...

all depends how isreal conflict run over weekend and next week (and how big will get by other parties go in), its news driven at the moment ... no time for use charts in gold, chf (i dont want know how good is the chance of a next little flash crash in eurchf, a lot of people have their stops lower then 0,94), oel and so on in this time of news and fear driven market. always find out when charts get unimportant ( not total unimportant, stop cluster levels still are important ), and news and fear drive market, not often like this but when it is then can be bigger... lets see next week

its not the question if it will close a gap, it will, and when it takes 1000 years. it only need to be important that gap close before you die or be insolvent.
some gaps need years to close or still open when news driven and run bad for some time. when a gap happen because of nothing is different.

when you trade a gap with bigger news, you can say and trade too all news after big moves in opposite direction and say price will go back, because its one by one same event. not a good idea often.

May visit 1947 first. Some times takes weeks to close the gaps.

that’s true there is a gap GU at 1.650 it’s been my picture for years . But you cannot zoom in to see it

im posting this today cause its football sunday tomoro so rather watch that than this place LOL

i was reading an article in NYT and they mentioned the hezbollah raid and "war" in 2006 so i had to look how gold and gu reacted to that LOL

heres some background from wikipedia:

On 28 May 2006, less than two months before the Lebanon War began, Hezbollah fired rockets into northern Israel in response to the killing in Lebanon of Mahmoud al-Majzoub, a top Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader. Israel retaliated by launching air strikes on Hezbollah bases in Lebanon and firing artillery across the border. The fighting was described as the most intense since the Israeli withdrawal in 2000, though it was over quickly due to a UN-sponsored cease fire.[15]

israel attacked on july 12 2006 and as you can see gold ran up in price leading up to the outbreak and dropped in price as soon as the war started

in GU's case was the opposite...price fell in the runup and escalation of tensions and rose during the war

exactly the same reaction this time...gold and GU doing the opposite and human nature being what it is and never changes GU might go up and recover this drop and gold will drop

so if anyone wants to make money from this drama and death this may be the template... stay informed gentlemen use that grey matter between your ears for something else than bickering LOL
