News are too weak. Slightly prefere USD Up. ADR not reached today. Can go to both sides now. USD/JPY still blocks lower GBP/USD, BOJ probably intervene again currently at 149, so GBP/USD is limited to the downside.

Quite dangerous currently to trade. I don't think BOJ will drop the mic today (so USD would pop up) but the interventions at 149 level is too often for my taste now. Someone really wants to push it through. Could End in a big sell off on GBP/USD (very unlikely but who knows, BOJ is sometimes a bit unpredicatble).

If tomorrow NFP favors USD, Boj might intervene.
But seriously though, big news + BoJ lurking around.
Difficult to actually gauge the direction.

You can see they want the volatility on GBP/USD but it's blocked. They already invested a lot on short to break it downside but they always get stuck, I think it is because of BOJ, watch EUR/GBP, here you can see weird move (happens when someone intervenes, does not have to be ECB (eur) or GBP (BOE)).

Currently again, speculators against BOJ, next try to push USD through the roof, gaining ground everywhere except at USD/JPY... poor BOJ.

I rely on BOJ, so I'm long at 1.2110 for scalp. Should work out. Trade is not recommended for newbies.

Edit: I'm happy, finally volatility is back because big boys have to make money. Always a mess from July till Aug/Sept.
