2nd short worked out. BOJ seems to bound it now to 149. So GBP/USD was not able to climb up more. Was a bit risky to take the 2nd 1.2090 short but I expected BOJ will not let big moves going on. May be later one more long, currently 1.2075.

im gona add a long if this hourly candle closes above the low

if it closes green in an hour ill add more than one longs

I have a feeling that BOJ also sells Yen before. I have seen that behavior ago. So the question is, who is really pushing it up the last 100 pips before the drop.... The like to frighten people. Now they (BOJ) have to pay the price to keep the yen at 1.49 area. I wonder how their balance sheet for last 3 days looks like. I think they are quite smart so they earned money on that move (s) but no matter what, the yen will decline more probably. Japan is not the power anymore like in the 90's and 2000's.

Yeah, here you can see real power on the market, just forced it down 70 pips in a minute lol. Hurted all longs who just bought above 149 area few minutes ago. Let's see if anyone else will have the guts to go again today against BOJ... They showed now: 149 is the mark... which means GBP/USD sideways now. I should quit for today. Else I risk my wins.

IIRC their USD reserve is still huge though.
But given that this is the 2nd or 3rd? (can't remember) intervention, that definitely doesn't look good for the balance sheet.
Their monetary policy is the key problem of Yen weakness but idk why they still insist keeping it extremely soft.

It'll take some time to settle down but yeah sidelines is the best choice if the PA has high uncertainty.

Agreed, I also stayed away from UJ for a while, but I think this fall not yet done, more to come, institution will take profit

London close in 20 minutes. After that we will (probably really) see what the target is. They just squeezed the shorts on USD/YEN (probably BOJ also). I think GBP/USD will not benefit going up from here because of keeping USD/YEN below 149. Concentration will now be on USD/YEN, less on USD solely. Too expensive probably for BOJ but they set their mark.

121-12120 maybe as a top end of GU helped mainly by BoJ dumping the USD

Going for a long on usdjpy , looked like a stop hunt , stop loss below that wick . Closed my aud shorts in great profit and will risk that for this trade
