I agree, but the strange thing is that many people see cable and euro as very trendy pairs (i.e non volatile) compared to our favorites like the GBPJPY, that dirty dragon. As for the past few weeks, we experienced a brief but "calm" short term trend change which did not deter me very much even though I'm traveling around these days.

PS: Boring times in the market are always very exciting times for merlin I imagine, these forums see consistent bloodshed when people have free time.
They are trendy, but there are not trending. Hey, there were days here we saw 94, 95, 96, 97 in the intraday, or 400-500 pips a week, for Christ sakes... Lately, it is hard to see cable chaning the cent figure twice a week....

I know I stink in ranging pairs, so I go for trending babies instead.

I know... But time & effort to collect tiny pipies still does not justify against time & effort to collect big pippies.

If I, mostly a reader of this thread be somewhat presumptious and ask a question.....where do you pick up your trending whores? Do you a set of favorites? I am also a trending pimp looking for action where ever it exits.

Pairs that consistently put new highs/lows inline with their prevaining (long term) trends... Currently I'm on USDCAD and the carry trades, the latter of course undergoing an annoying correction period, but their trends resume eventually.

But now I'm flerting with Ms. NZD, but I didn't decide if I go NZDUSD or NZDJPY or both, or if I don't go at all.

Bravado! Switch to Natural Light. I used to drink about 25 Budweisers in a afternoon and night and the next day my head would hurt. I switched and no head problem since. By the way, where is the GBP/USD going? I'm short on several trades! Thanks!

GBPUSD ended up as an inside day. Sooo depending on how market thursday reacts to rate announcement will determine whether wednesdays high or low will be taken out.

Momentum is up for the past 5 trading days, but I think it is too soon to guess which way it will break.
