Random Or could it be that you just didn't notice a Red News Event @ NY Open, that could change the GBPUSD, GBPJPY, USDJPY Balance / Dynamic ?

Don't be on the level crossing when the Freight Train is passing by. "WTF was that" moment ?

Plenty of warnings before it turned around at both ends.

Just trying to sort a decent broker here in OZ. Just had a look at GBP/JPY 15 minutes chart and seems that targets are set for Europe and US session. Its a Monday and 1st trading day of the month so just observing.

Hi All,

A beautiful trade i missed on Gold, for Gold it is a golden setup. Happens quite often. It comes so close to the RN on the first attempt and gives us the sign. Not the entry but probable setup. Comes back quite quick and takes the RN and the Franky Open. The bullish engulfer was an aggressive entry but wait after the minor structure break was less risky. Exit was the next RN and 200MA.

Trade Safe All.

Very useful chart W.
Looking left of Frankie and looking at RN's etc where price interacts with those levels, is an education in itself -well done young man.

Oh man W !!! This one hurts !!! LoL ..
I actually got in a few oil trades off the open.. the 16:27 candle...crazy entry right!!!... but I F'd up and ended up taking a loss.. HOW !

Well ...additional positions started to go against me slightly and I got shake n baked out...just to watch it catapult up... so then I turned the screen off...disgusted with myself AND then saw later I missed the exact trade you outlined !! Double whammy up the kazoo...

BUT I did take a nice long on the US30 near the open.. which made up for my oil screw up...

Beauty of a chart Whitest... ... How many times do we see the market do that... as long as I guy is using a reasonable stop... AND a decent target... you just need to take them every time they come up and let the numbers play out...the outcome I know is very positive!!!

Anyways 930 pm here up at 4am to prep for NY... gotta sleep...

London sold off Crude at those levels 250 pips or so, also on the same day 5/10 ( morning for us in the UK) , coinciding with PD NY close. & PDL
NY had a second bite of the same cherry about 2 hours after the Open.

Last trade for the week. A beauty it was with so many confluences. Similar set up on Gold as well but i am not good in managing 2 trades at a time. These setups appear quite often and returns are quite good. I normally go for 5 to 15 pips after spread but this one gave around 30 pips. I expected it to take out the ADR, previous monthly and weekly low hence the late entry. Once there was a clean break of London Open i was confident that it would hit the 200MA.
