There's probably gonna be a reaction to the U.S. Congress deal @ the open, but looking technically as it closed Friday;

Mthly - a big bearish candle close.
Wkly a bearish-bodied hammer-esq candle close that some may see as buillish.
Dly a pinbar close that is in essence bearish.

Friday's hi came in that prev 4hr sw hi zone that extends to 2284, = prev res = pot res / a 3 fib cluster / the steepest descending 4hr t/line.
4hr/dly downtrends (possibly wkly) are still intact. 1hr is rangy-currently bullish more than anything right now.

4hr then 1hr below

well bonzey... i guess you won your 3 weekly black crows netted you 34 pips price will jump as soon as theres a deal there could be one in 10 minutes if the GOP speaker of the house wasnt afraid of the lunatics on his right he can pass a bipartisan bill in minutes but then he'd lose his job as speaker cause the idiot i posted above would vote with other crazies to have him kicked from that post...dont get me wrong hes no winner..hes just as bad as all the other tards cause he values his speakership more than the people in the country

well it happened with bipartisan help so the trumptards are shitting all over themselves LOL

A move to oust Kevin McCarthy as House speaker could come as early as Monday, the Florida congressman Matt Gaetz said on Sunday, as Republican extremists plotted revenge for McCarthy’s bipartisan deal with Democrats to avoid a government shutdown.

We need to rip off the Bandaid. We need to move on with new leadership that can be trustworthy,” Gaetz said on CNN’s State of the Union, saying he would file a “motion to vacate” sometime this week. The House sits at noon on Monday.
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...-shutdown-deal

im glad i was wrong (in this instance) about mccarthy ...he chose the people

the thing about the american trumptard right wing is all they want is to lower tax rates for corporations and the very rich and pay for that by cutting food stamps for the very poor so gaetz wants revenge cause mccarthy didnt cut benefits for anyone in his bill cause even a shutdown would hurt the poor since thered be no money for them to buy food

i think their free days are numbered just like the ex presidents

My trading plan is to wait for eurusd to either touch 1.07000 area or 1.05000 area . Both are liquidity zones . Since the government spending bill was passed , Mr USD May still be the king

Depends on whether there is a gap or not. By looking at Monthly Chart, price reacted to Support and Monthly Candle closed above that Support (MN S2).
Case for Bulls would be even better had Monthly Candle closed above MN S1 (1.23).

More Bullish than Bearish at the moment. If Support at 1.21 can held once again in October, this would be a great sign for Bulls. Price breaking below 1.21 would mean that price will first visit 1.19 and could very well continue all the way down, that would be Bearish.

We have to stay objective when looking at the charts, which is far from easy, because we all have our scenario which "should play out" in our heads.

Unfortunately... not many realized my sarcasm with the earlier post.. I'll stop writing sarcastic posts. People are more serious these days... not good.

I even wrote I'm like Gandalf... I thought that was funny as hell, but...

Seems to me people aren't doing that well anymore and are more and more serious day by day. I can see that already with some members. Hopefully, the wind starts blowin' your way!

Gold

Objectively Bearish

Weekly Candle closed below the Buy Zone and MN Candle closed below S1 and S2 in the same Month.

Subjectively, I'm still Long Gold and this will probably cost me soon.

Confidence about CHF/JPY Shorts I'm holding from 165 is falling. If USD/JPY can break 150, CHF/JPY Shorts will collapse. Then, another rally against Yen is coming on all Yen pairs.

GBPUSD price action on the daily time frame was on a strong bearish run for several days. However, a bullish correction began on Thursday. But the bullish push lost steam on Friday, resulting in the printing of a doji-like candlestick. Technically, bears are favoured to resume the southward drive but as a medium-term swing trader, I will await a market engineering northward to an intra-day (e.g., H4 time frame) area of value before looking for a sell trading opportunity.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

The budget deal negates any rise in the US$ that was predicated on the fear of a shutdown.
