Japan has the biggest debt of all, the Gov prints money to buy all the debt, and that's how they hold rates down,
debt is 263% of GDP, and is the highest of any developed nation. 43.3% of this debt is held by the Bank of Japan.

Japan GDP $2882 billion
US GDP $7927 billion

Japan Debt $9.8 trillion
US Debt $31.42 trillion

Chances that either one will repay debt 0.00000000

News flash, GDP is used for more than debt and interest repayment.
