Two things to remember: 9th week of Dollar Strength, USD/JPY may be intervention soon from BOJ, could mess things up, also on GBP/USD.
Nice potential for a flip now: First aim would be 1.2430.

Today should be ending below 1.2333, else reversal possible. Let's see if FED talk brings the GBP/USD down. I don't think so. I'm really curious about last numbers, especially PPI what they say to the high numbers. I think they only could strengthen dollar more if they say they COULD imagine to raise interest rates one more time due to recent numbers. Else I think dollar strength will end this evening. Let's see.

Methinks, any price movement at this point no longer has any relation to Fed projections...

The gyration now has become the speculators' playground. As it is, the 1.23072 low in May will definitely be breached before GU makes a move up --- retracement or a real uptick, I cannot say. But I'm sure this pair is due for an uptick.
