Mainly because they have some "magic" indicator that is telling them that this is the low. You know, like Bollinger Bands, stochastics oversold, some pivot support hit, a Fib number hit, some kind of price action, some "critical" level has been reached, and various other guesses. If you feel the urge, you can simply go back to an earlier point in the thread and start finding these periods, then look for yourself on your charts and see what
was REALLY going on.

Sure it is. Nearly anything that would not cause legal issues is permissable. Even most of the things that are in the Code of Conduct are permitted to be violated with impunity, as you can observe from the postings in this thread alone.

GU UPDATE ---- just woke up and all positions in profit. would have liked better to see gu not up this far atm.. possible spike down with news then up but if you are not long already dont follow me

recently closed all positions in a small profit after holding for hours. Not jumping in before the news.
