Hedging or counter trade your main position is no simple feat. A multi task, 2 times the headache.
But Moty's style, sometimes his stop is his free margin.
Doing counter trade if done right or with luck can extend the free margin to absorb the losing trade.
The worst nightmare is when price playing between your long & short trade. By then you will think, why i did this. This might go back up right now.

Not sure how you believe that I expect DXY to fly. In my previous post I just pointed out that the 3 dead soldier candle pattern in the 1 hr timeframe doesn't suggest DXY rising.

Not technically an inverse head and shoulder pattern until the pattern completes which would require a break of the 104.860 level. Although I also don't trade patterns anyway.

Not promoting anyone..... Just the concept/system of using pivots as a tool. Not on its own but with other inputs to assist in decision making.
Just trying to help out. Again, not promoting an individual, but there is some good info available on that thread whether Davit posted it or other members' musings.

A break below y/day's lo and into the 4hr part of that prev 4hr/dly/wkly sw lo zone that extends down to 2307, and a strong bounce from 2333 - the current dly lo. 2 x sub 30day adr day's so far this week and today a downside breach of Dly S2 before the bounce, this coming just above Wkly S1 which is @/around 2325. 15min bearish hidden div @ the current p/back hi after the bounce up. Asian lo currently is current dly lo, and Asian hi is currently the current dly hi. 73% 30day adr traveled so far today.

The situation In the market now calls for patience . I decided to stay on the sideline till after FOMC news which I strongly believe will set the direction for GbpUsd . There will be lot of opportunities after the news but the impatient traders might have lost their accounts or suffered serious drawdowns
