I think that Kareem meant to say that his friend lost ONLY $500 rather than $2500 that he would have lost if he hadn't used T's training to get some positive trades closed.

You don't necessarily need to take someone else's strategy and adapt it to start. I have taken trading ideas, such as market structure and price action and combined it with a single indicator (Pivot Points). However, my strategy was created by myself after staring at charts for days on end for multiple years.

The rules I use to determine entries come from manual back testing so I can identify high probability chances of success. One such rule I have mentioned today regarding the weekly pivot point, I backtested for 52 weeks and found that 70-80% of the time (cant remember the exact figure, and it will change over time), the first weekly pivot point to be touched would be the weekly pivot. Thus, taking this week as an example, price is 70-80% more likely to hit 1.2440, before it hits 1.2325. We have now also had a bullish market structure shift on the 15m timeframe, adding to my bullish directional bias. This is the only time I will trade counter to the 15m or 1h trend.
I backtested for 52 weeks and found that 70-80% of the time

2440 will happen because my TP is there and because I am the market. Hahaha... please don't mind the nonsense I just wrote just kidding.

On a serious note, if you pay attention to the mobthly pivot and see how it works, your whole trading life will be changed for the best. Now you work down to the weekly and daily pivots for intraday and intra week entries. That is how you build a system that actually works without bias. Once the pivots, liquidity structure and session flows align, I close my eyes and go for it and it happens like a miracle. TP hit. TP hit. TP hit! Good to see you did your backtest and found your own holy grail. Cheers.
