Bought 1.2403... target is open... Monthly distance already 313 pips... Quarter distance 742 pips... 200 pips bounce to 1.2600 is a real possibility anywhere from 1.2380 - 1. 2400 to 1.2600.

There's nothing to understand. Extreme price manipulation happens on high-impact news and that's all you need to know. Basically, stay out when these news are taking place and you'll have nothing to worry about, let alone trying to explain this blatant bullshit they do every time there is high-impact news.

Of course, they'll always give you a reason why price went up or why price went down.

IT'S ALL BULLSHIT! Don't trade during the High-Impact News and you'll have nothing to worry about. You don't even have to know what the numbers are (because it doesn't matter anyway). You just need to know when these High-Impact News are, so you avoid trading at that particular time.

Leave the fundamentals alone! Fundamentals never made me any money, but lost me very much, trust me!
Behave as if fundamentals don't even exist, only your chart and your system (strategy). Only know when these useless news are and that's it.

USD gets weaker now over the board. I think that's it for today. For me no trade anymore, PA is way too slow. Could be a prepare for further drop later after London close. Big no for me to play long here. But Signals are mixed anyway. Kind of roulette now for me. I stay aside. See you may be at a new low.

I didn't provide a reason why GBP/USD is going down (fundamental). I shared that my chart H1 confirmed Short on EUR/USD and GBP/USD before the news even happened, so it has nothing to do with stupid fundamentals, rather TA.

Oh really, great US data? What happened yesterday then on higher CPI? Why didn't USD go up yesterday? Why didn't EUR go up today despite ECB raising rates and forecast was that ECB probably won't raise?

LEAVE THE NEWS MAN! NEWS ARE USELESS! Take this as an advice, because the sooner you realize news don't matter, the better you'll become.

absolutely...in hindsight there are always explanations for what happened...I'd also add that I suspect the figures are known in advance by the big boys...obviously, not a fair game, but we know the rules...

next week could be interesting. Let’s see where it takes us. 127 my initial target followed by 129 then looking to short at 130. However if FOMC raises rates and BoE looks to pause we will easily open door to Brains 121 magnet

I will be very surprised if the FED raises rates.
It is very possible that the market could still react as if the FED had raised rates a little like the exaggerated move today with the EU rate change!

bfx17, I think we can find on the chart our own inflection points by reading PA and finding the spot where a reaction is expected. We give too much credit or blame to MM.

Agree that the charts can show you where to expect reactions. The 'blame' on the MM's is more about the magnitude or price range involved the correction IMHO.

I agree...in my opinion they are targeting liquidity with these moves...so yes, we can wait for the price to reach those liquidity zones and then make a decision...and no, I do not blame the MM or anyone else, because as I said, we know the conditions of this game...or we should know them.
