Just a Thought, i am not trading Pound at the moment,
but looking at Chart it sure doesn't look like a bad idea to buy 1.2470 Heavily Oversold it may retrace to 1.2510
so 40 pips is not a bad trade.
i am in USDJPY and CHFJPY.
EURJPY GBPJPY Closed
This is Pound Thread so i am posting about the pound only,
Just my 2 Cents.

Candles can be misleading, that's why you have to have a good system in which you can trust.

I don't see any sign of weakness in DXY yet.

If you have no signal and you didn't go Short, then your beliefs took the better of you.

I shared the belief video yesterday which is amazing and explains everything about trading with belief.

I'm not taking USD should be strong this Week without evidence. Of course, the system could be wrong, but all I'm saying is based on what my system is telling me.

We have to listen to our system, otherwise we gamble every time we enter the trade. It's not really a gamble if you have a signal though, because that means you have more than 50% chance that price will go in the direction the system is suggesting it will.

yes I see, my strategy telling me go long but I dont take timing with it so, Im underwater, plan B is to buy one more new low with 5xmore to quick recover, lets see how this develop, green pips to you bro! Beautifull swing down

Despite what some members might say about higher TF and lower TF, there is a difference!

If higher TF's suggest Short, that holds bigger value than lower TF's suggesting Long. Higher TF is more important and always will be.

Focus on higher TF's and for entries you look at lower TF's. If higher TF is Short, then you wait for example for 15M to start suggesting Short and reflect what higher TF's are suggesting.

I tend to agree with you but I am looking for some additional indication that the gap will close.
Sometimes the gaps close and sometimes they don't. The other variable is how long it takes the gap to close. It could easily happen as a data spike tomorrow for example.

yes.. that what i learn.. take a look from the higher TF then step by step checking on lower TF..
all we need is waiting for confirmation..
