In trading there is the notion of developing a strategy and backtesting it before you implement it to make sure that it will work. Following someone else's suggestions is VERY MUCH LIKE THIS! Follow someone, watch what they do, pay attention to their successes and failures, realize that they may miss a key trading day or recommendation so you have to be prepared to act on your own. If you do all of this you might get a good trading idea from this forum.

Are the myriad indicators indicating a medium to longer term long on Cable/Fibre as we get to end of year . Don’t forget the ‘catching knife’ analogy… ie liquidity plays - keep analysis timeframes as high as psychologically possible.

I suggest you take a look at DXY ( dollar index) , you would notice how resilient it is to the upside. Based on that GU is not attractive to me to go long . If the support at 1.2480 area is broken , GU might trade south today

i am a 25pips trader on Friday as the closing range of the week

the week gave me enough pips do this friday is just to relax and clear my head..

Gold is trying to move with EU. EU is mirroring the DXY. GU is trying to mirror the EU / Gold and follow DXY. Not typical patterns. They were typical earlier today.

It merely comes down to this question ...

- Are you seeking to be entertained, or are you seeking to learn?

If the former, watch whatever you want, as it won't matter.

If the latter, you will need to be naturally objective and this requires persistence, perseverance and the motivation to learn so you can learn. And not for any other agenda or reason. This way means you learn about all things not just the "ones you want to" and throw away the rest.

GU is in almost perfectly in negative correlation with EG, take a look

So you're another one of these who have inhabited these sites "for a long time" hah. Is there any other words of wisdom you would like to share from the "classical website hall of fame of traders" ?

Yes, as you can see, some do not subscribe to the idea that people on these websites know anything about money and the real world.

There are many things wrong with what you said there. So, you must be one of the disciples of these sites.

So what's next? Telling people they should just enter, place a stop loss and take profit and walk away and let their "trailing stop" collect their money for them?

** I have a better and more effective, realistic suggestion ....

And so, now, they don't need your advice. They can build their own blueprint of trading, without you, then get on with learning and improving, minus the uselessness of these sites.

Of course, naturally, this only applies to people who want something real out of their learning and experience. All the rest are like you, a website "person".

Learning, for me at least, is entertainment. I fight the urge to label and compartmentalise second hand views, and prefer to remain open minded to anything that I have not experienced for myself. Seeking to experience as much as I can in my life time so that I my hold a balanced view that I can share with my offspring. A life of no regrets and no surrender. A life of community and culture.

Both, is my honest answer
