It occurs to me, sometimes, that people would not understand why I contribute on these sites, or even on this thread.

Here I go trying to lay down a track to explain ...

* I am here for the normal everyday person. I don't have any problem with someone who openly admits they use a practice account and sees it and uses it as a type of video game. So they do it only for fun. Therefore, naturally, I draw issue with most others, who pretend, conceal what they really are and basically do everything/anything to uphold the status quo of these absurd sites. If a person was to do nothing but unbiased research for 6months without ever touching any charting/trading software etc, then you would learn a lot. For eg. technical analysis was never meant to be a standalone toolkit. It was created and designed to help fill in blanks that were not available for the changing times back then. So this is why I laugh and cry with people today. You haven't "empowered" yourself you have reduced it all down to gambling. The REALLY interesting thing about gambling style "trading" is - it creates more problems in the world. By being overleveraged AND basically, out of pocket re: what you can manage, because you are so heavily undercapitalized, it means you have to borrow to yield. Eg. - the trading of the gbpusd I have been doing and showing the daily and weekly and monthly results. Of course with a small account of around $300 I have to use leverage. By not using it, I couldn't afford to put orders in. But let's imagine that you have more money in your account than this. And so, you may not require so much leverage. You would need to use synchronistic trading methods to max your opportunities, much like a conveyor belt. Same goes for ONLY trading 1 instrument. The sensible thing to do is to use as little leverage as possible. Of course gamblers will disagree and that's OK. In doing this you've just proven you don't understand that with a "dog eat dog" mindset/society, what you don't understand will get you 'killed'/eaten. So I think it's VERY funny when the "older/wiser/more experienced" people/traders/whatever label you give yourself on these sites, chooses to speak of human interaction, bullying, trading "stuff" but forgets that everything has a trail back to the real world.

This is the reason I don't have followers, sycophants, friends or enemies. I'm not here to "gather". I simply believe that a person needs to learn and improve in ways where "the crowd/the [lynch] mob/the status quo" are seen for what they are.

If you have been on these sites for more than 6 months, then SURELY by now, you have realized that EVERY "trading stuff" thread is completely redundant .... no opinion ..... something that is and can be observed, over and over again. After about 50 to 100 pages, the whole thing becomes mute. So a person who wants to learn has no need to keep posting. IF they're genuinely honest, they will see that it does them no good because they're externalizing what should be personal and private.

* I don't care for or respect the politics of these sites. They do not show and teach real life so of course I ask myself "why bother?".
* What you put out there CAN be used against you at a future time and place. Have people learned nothing in the last 50 yrs of trading and financial markets?

A real person will read this because they want to learn not waste time (they don't have).

Hard lesson time = It's called "get off your frickin ass and off the charts and look at real life".

"The pound" for eg. is a constituent base, which means there are many pieces within it that contribute to it. All industries and management and conservative departments. Each major centre of business and finance worldwide, has it's own constituent base ie. "currency". This in part is what it's about. They always "appear" to be in competition with each other but are not, cannot be. Look at the FTSE and learn what it is, why it was created, how important it is or not important. Once you begin to read through these you can see the connectors. No there is NOT a quick simple answer, there is knowledge then there's other.

Learn about what they are and how they function, instead of "just asking someone". People on these sites either - don't know or don't care. Or both.

How you trade them is up to you. I merely showed those chart pics to show the use of one instrument's PP's overlaid on another instrument for ease of use. Many selective position traders use PP's onchart that they trade so they can pinpoint "their trades" inline with 'confluence'. Sure you can do that but, it limits what you can do....depending on WHAT you're seeking to do. Some people will tell you "it's about correlation" or 'Risk ON/OFF'. Makes me laugh. They MIGHT play a very small reactive role, but that is not what is happening. You need to appreciate the seed factor ..... WHY does a participant do what they do? And this is why I am VERY WARY of people who push the idea that trading is all about 'the money'. To me, it's an EXTREME oversimplification. And those people who believe this about money, are always the same ones who blame the government, the politicians, the "industry", the broker, other traders or themself / never themself etc etc etc. Common sense is available and cost free to access at any time.

That's my answer. DO real research and learn. Instead of looking for the quick answer. You will learn more and your real confidence will improve.

Dxy, we will stick to the upward structure at least until we will take the next high
imo around 105.25 we will find sellers, if not dxy will fly to 110 area long term.

DXY still to signal at 104. 60 breaks and hold in a last leg up before breakout possible with or without signal. So watching limit 103.73 for test breaks 104.37 and 60!!
If try limit down the again breakout and more can play down! Let's see what happen, this week particularly be risky!

Hopefully we'll get enough volatility for one decent trade today. Will probably have to shift to M5 however.
