Disliked{quote} I want to give a long answer but I won't. For me, I use a Top down bottom up approach for general knowledge. For me this gives me a look-in to the world and myself. I don't use fundamental analysis for sending orders to market though, I like to use that for understanding where I will place money and what money is doing. I too use charts and many things they offer, but in footing with real life not stories of what happens. Those things I said all bundle together to show different parts of one's reality in trading and real life. Good idea...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Ok, could u explain this quote though, as I just don't get why a money changer would be happier hanging on to AUD than other currencies in recent months Why do my AUD or USD get better traction at a money changer than most others? {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} money changers have to offset what stock they have to what they need to get and what it costs them to hold. Depending on what is good for business. Different part of money world but also the same, but different context. So say, one AUD from USD transaction might not be good for MC but they may do better on say, an AUD to Indo Rupiah exchange (just as a blind...Ignored
Disliked{quote} perhaps you need to go back to the basics on the ecology of money. Silly modern people believing fundamentals are disconnected fro everything else. Question - what planet are all of you living on? Without those F's, your "trading would not be". And as to "price action" ....... BLOODY FANTASTIC MARKETING idea !!!! And it worked. People can't get enough of that crap. People are funny.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yes, I understand MCs have to offset what stock they have to what they need to get and what it costs them to hold. "So popular in some arenas of currency are not always popular in others." that's obviously going to be the case. I just thought your statement - "Why do my AUD or USD get better traction at a money changer than most others?" was meant to imply that these 2 currencies were the most favourable, regardless of the MC country you are in..and it didn't make sense to me.Ignored
