I'm aiming for Cable to reach 23.6% of the total move up which conveniently lines up with 78.6% of the recent weekly swing up:

I will most likely close out my shorts and start buying blind. I will enter shorts if the 1 hr and 4 hr structure down holds.

Of course, this could happen but personally I wouldn't count on it. Anything can happen of course. But I trade only using quantitative/statistical strategies now. I am not giving any advice just want to add my opinion. I wouldn't be surprised if the BoJ tries to fight against the historical trend of JPY being a safe haven in order to weaken their currency.

Also, before anyone slings shit at me. My quant trades have anywhere between 60%- and 100%-win rate. So, they are not always correct. But they certainly kick the markets ass. Intelligent people will understand my point. The haters and lunatics will try to warp everything of course.

ONE OF THE HARDEST THING IN TRADING WITH EMAS IS . Trading against the lag of the EMAS until the EMAS become the trend Emas Then when and if they get into the trend ,, is to realise when conjunction is there bet your shirt on it . If you have the open mindset and the balls together with a big trading account is to go for it … believe me I have made it work

trend trading with an ma, like ema = start big(not big as in BIG leverage! big compared to how much future positions will be...), and lower trading volume with every entry, and never ever get in again if in loss with any position.... Waiting till all back in profit, then get back on buying/selling with the trend. That can also help, for certain approaches with using one MA to trade...
If I don't mention SL and/or TP = longer-term setup possibly in the works!

of course, need exits along the way to avoid large dd during retracement/corrections, which could become extremely large when compounding... when exits one in loss, make sure to close older position/s, enough to cover not only the loss, but at least twice the loss of said position... then wait and see if trend continues or not...

For entry = identify what occurences happen more on the trending side (if uptrend, that is in the new highs...)
For exits = identify occurrences that do NOT happen often when price is in opposite side of trending range(in the lows when in uptrend, for example)....

MXN.JPY has a 56% chance of going up on any given trading day. Not that compelling/interesting but most other pairs are even worse.

Most major FX pairs historically have about 50/50 chance of going in either direction on any given trading day. It's no wonder why people fail at trading FX.

I concur, Mr.Price is indeed a bloody hard nut to crack !

even +-50% is pretty much what most used patterns/occurrences, etc. individually bring to the table...
Why mm is so important.
Also why it is important to diversify.
Also why it is important to master sideways... why, 50% is actually shared with sideways, so it's not really +-50% up or down...
