The GBP is a currency. If you live in Britian, it is your currency. If you have 2 pounds in your pocket, the value of those 2 pounds is...2 pounds. It is not approximately 2 pounds, it is 2 pounds. If you want to buy a cup of tea that costs 2 pounds, you need 2 pounds not approximately 2 pounds, and the shop owner will require 2 pounds, not approximately 2 pounds. The notion that cable is not a currency is stupid, and the notion that the value of the cable is based on some interpolation is also stupid. Citizens of Great Britian, rest assured that you have a currency and it's value is stable. If you are considering the exchange rate of cable, compared to other countries, then the value of the exchange rate varies every second, but everyone here knows that because you are watching your charts of the movement in exchange rates.

By now, everyone here should understand that Peter has an endless capacity to spout irrelevancies. He does this because he has nothing to add regarding trading. This book is credited for such things as QANON in he US, and other conspiracy theories involving mysterious forces that seek to overthrow the US government, all the way to an alien invasion of the earth. This book, in Peter's addlepated head, is going to help you understand the world and how currency exchange rates are determined by the market. If you are participating in this thread to discuss GBP/USD trading, I think you are going a little far afield by trying to find an alien invasion connection to current PA.

But, Peter does not have to explain himself to modern people, with all your technology, data and charts.
