I doubt a multi million dollar invest would make the market.. Considering there is companies trading hundreds of billions.

i'd be tempted to say it's up at this moment, but depends on TF you're looking at. if you're looking at h4, it's down; weekly, up... depends on your perspective & trading style.
as long as you're making + pips, you're on the right side.
ok, now i'm waiting for fomc... pretty excited about it, which is something unusual for me, i never cared about news before.

I closed my long positions in very small profits just before. I have a feeling that FOMC will be $ positive.

Previous statements have been towards a rate rise side due to inflation worries rather than a rate cut. $ positive

Market is wanting to know the outcome of the minutes as they also may indicate inflation worries and what FOMC are thinking. Also importantly is a rate cut now just a rumour of the past.

I will wait til after the minutes before placing a trade

What was the result of fomc ? and what about dollars ? is still berarish or we will see uptrend of cable

Early report on CNBC website regarding FOMC minutes

The Federal Reserve continues to focus on the risk of inflation rather than weakness in the economy, according to minutes of its May 9 meeting.
The minutes, released at 2 pm Wednesday, said that core inflation remains uncomfortably high, with housing and medical costs major contributors. Tight labor markets also are a significant source of upside inflation risks, though cheaper rental costs could help moderate core inflation.
As for the slowing economy, the minutes said policymakers believe inflation-adjusted growth in the gross domestic product will "pace below trend for rest of the year...but better than first quarter."
However, the housing slowdown will last longer than previously forecast, the minutes said. Turmoil in the subprime market is well contained.
Overall, the consensus was that risks to economic activity were weighted to the downside, the housing market slowdown was going to take longer than previously expected, but it is still likely the economy will expand at a moderate pace.

well those minutes were a damp squib, and nothing to get excited about in any way shape or form.

The FOMC kept Interest Rate unchanged, so how'd the market move now???

Cable divergence on 30mins chart maybe UP.

Nothing yet! Both inflation and economic growth should be very well analized. Some movement should take place and I would say it will be bearish... Anyway, I have no ongoing transactions. I am waiting the... something... anything
