No, I don't think so , not really.
As I know, META layoff a lot of employees, because the Metaverse project has issues with their shareholders, the company bears too much loss, had burned lots of money to support this project. Twitter after bought by Elon Musk, he makes a mass layoff is try to cost down. Many big enterprises would layoff bad performance employees annually as usual, and recruit new employees based on their future demands.
Mass layoffs normally are caused by problems of cost and the change of core team . profit centers.
Company loses big money mostly are caused by CEO's false decision, management or economic environment issues.

Yes the way being acquisition. Twitter being used as an example.
The markets are connected though, and can reflect many things about society, as well as society can be reflected in the stock market.

My question was how we can profit from this information though. Not debating on who is right or wrong.
The how is not the same as the why. So if we exclude Twitter and think of tech as a whole.

GBP/USD (Daily): the price is in a downtrend.
The weekly bar closed bearish.
After breaking through the local support, we may potentially see a continuation of the current trend
