I pretty much entered at random numbers and time. And have a winrate slightly above 50%.
Join my cointoss tournament. only i have the iron coin and the ferromagnet in my pocket.

Imagine entering trades short when everything is pointing long , and have the nerves to ride out the storm.

i’m sure the market makers change the tactix next week, and all trades are easy. And everyone go countertrend and get toast that way.

5% a day is probably doable, the detail is that when you get into a multi million dollar account values , the system will be trading against you. Get over the value of a multi million dollar account and if the system doesn't work against you, the transaction will overturn global capitalism!

Here's a different perspective.

6% a month doubles your account in a calendar year.
Risking 2% per trade, that's only 3 a month with just 1 to 1 gearing.

The problem with percent target per day is what you do when it is going wrong. How much you risk. And the bigger the goal the bigger the risk will be. The opportunities are not the same every day and the body gets tired.

Maybe this is some good idea. Risk 4 % to get 8%. With GBPUSD let’s say you risk 10 pips to get 20 pips.
If you do 2 trades per day and 1 is a win then you have plus 4 % win. Maybe this kind of approach will work
