Going fr split strategy

5 mins b4 news --will buy & sell same amount with tp 20 pips on each side. Mostly works on all big news

We must hire some lawyers here to figure out some happenings here anyway I wish all good trading day, my longs at EU still open after partials, GU too, Gold added some at 1915, 1920 target is 1970 medium term, cheers!

Unless it goes down first then up! Also spread...

Anyway, what I used to do is to put Sell Stop 25 pips down and Buy Stop 25 pips up 1 minute before the news. However, I'm not doing that crap anymore hahaha .

Why? Because order only get's triggered 30 pips after if impact is strong and creates a gap.

Going in before the news, then you're not risking being a victim of gap and where your order will activate, however on the strong news like this, it'll be a miracle if they don't make some kind of wick up or down. We'll see... anyway, good luck!

This is my first post on Forexfactory and it's an appreciation post for Pat Chiko! Over the past few months, I've been closely following Pat's posts, and I must say, they are nothing short of amazing. Pat is one of the few here on this forum, whose insights have been valuable, helping me both with my analysis and actual trades. I'm confident that your contributions are helping numerous other traders as well.

Recently I've noticed that Pat has unfortunately faced some unwarranted criticism from a few individuals. I haven't read all the posts and I don't know all the details so will stay out of it. But Pat, please know that you have a legion of supporters who believe in the value you bring with your posts. Ignore the negativity, for your positive impact far outweighs it!

Just ignore them Pat, you are amazing thank you for your contributions.

most people love gambling and addicted..
me too..but only risking profit..not my whole balance..
cpi and todays trade im risking this week profit to always short..

Everything gonna be okay, untill one day on data release the stop orders get activated and a gap happen.

This is what you said

So you proceeded to demonstrate to the whole thread that posting hindsight trades is easy for you with the EURUSD and AUDUSD trades and the extra lots on GU , so i assume these trades could be photoshopped, otherwise how can it be so easy for you to post hindsight trades.

Please note i am making no accusations, i said it "sounds like" you photoshop the trades you posted in hindsight.

I can assure you that i have not one jealous bone in my body and i trade my own plans.

My motivation is driven by the fact that you are constantly bringing this thread into disrepute and it needs to stop.

Some of his posts for trade entries are posted late but the same can be said for yours at times but that does not necessarily mean he is trying to deceive anyone.

Again you seem to be infatuated by your own self importance and really offer no real explanations for your trading style apart from some notations with abbreviations. you need to do better if you want to help people to learn to trade.

Besides that what is your motivation for being such a dedicated individual to helping others, you have money, you seem to have the skills required to trade so why so much emphasis on other traders?

Your dedicated empathy for the less skilled traders here would probably be better put to use helping your fellow countrymen build something useful. Why not start a trading school in your place and fund the promising traders, far better than wasting your time here.

Actually if the market spikes 50 pts up and down to trigger both entries he will lose something when he exits and probably not get good fills as well.

I understand the reason PAT is stressing the need for real time analysis. In Forex, It is easy to see some thing that has occurred in the past- when we are back testing everything looks absolutely beautiful but demonstrating it in real time or future becomes a problem. I need some one to demonstrate the SMC repeatedly in real time. Incase you don’t know what we mean by real time “ Do it in reality” No story telling!

Oh PAT is amazing and I like how he trades and make calls! Most times he records 5 straight wins with only one loss. I mean that’s a great result.

After all said, let us put the past behind and work together.
Trading is stressful and now adding this.. hell no, not me.

Yeah, haven't done this a long time.. don't know what will happen. I assume if you enter before the CPI then the gap shouldn't affect you in my opinion. You don't pay the gap or whatever it's called..

I misunderstood sorry. He will enter BEFORE the CPI. If you want to gamble then this is the way to go to avoid gap and spread and your order not even activating or SL. Buy Stop or Sell Stop orders are very, very bad for the kind of news with this kind of impact. My experience at least..

I did this crap back in the day on NFP and my order wouldn't even get triggered. Had Buy Stop around 20 pips higher then the price before NFP...
CPI is like NFP on steroids these days.

IMO this is a typical pullback/liquidity hunt before high impact news (us cpi) they are ready to short this after a good cpi data.
You have to have an IQ higher than 90 to interact with this user.

It was a good moments when you dont know where price will possibly going on red data release so we simply put 15pips buy stops and 15 pip sell stop above/below the current price 2 mins before the news.
One day, it was a NFP day, price didnot go in a straight line on one side movement only, it spiked both sides. I was like (wtf i just do to my account).

Ever since either my entry is at least 1 hr before the news. If is less, it rides without me. Another day, another opportunity to be perceived

if! I would say that data will be bad, that can explode GU and EU to a last hights, lets see whats happen, my longs protected both pairs, waiting...
