But then when I started studying market structure I found it to be a more reliable method. I'm not an expert on the subject of algo's nor have I ever seen a successful one in action but I would imagine the successful ones wouldn't just be a single strategy. They may include buying when price touches an MA, or an MA crossover or when price touches a pivot point etc etc...

I've been waiting all night for this structure. Swing low violates Asia range followed by 3 hours of chop. 2 hours or less is ideal, however the dealer moves when he's ready, obviously finding's value ahead of NFP, going to likely hold the zone before the release. Notice the directional pin bars! ALL of them are to the downside as the dealer flashes their equity in an attempt to show traders "momentum" before pulling back. It's a common scenario, usually before directional swings. {image}
