Still looking around the E/J for research. Just curious now where the 4 hour 50% Fibo reacts to 15 and 5 minute levels. ( Roadmap - 5 minute would have me a short below Previous Low ( Blue horizontal) {image} {image} {image}
GJ rejecting mR1 4 times before falling below DPV and then retest from below, falling through mS1, S1 and now stalling @ mS2 Retest to mS2 60 pips so far
EJ starting below DPV stalled between PDL & mS1 , retestDO then dropping to S1, move 57 pips so far.
It never gets easier, you just get better

I like the bigger picture, 1 min charts lose lot of informatiom.

Ok some screenshots with notes of my thinking as I managed trade...was in SPX as well after hemming and hawing US30 or SPX....picked the wrong horse LOL
US 30 would have hit tp before I could set it,,,SP out with small win.
Oil i may re enter if a setup occurs on a pull back within the OR 50% or so...we will see but happy with my 40pts on Oil.
Heres the oil charts from my live mt4.
OHH and the reason Im sharing this is to show this same pattern(roughly) and also how I used the "PAY ATTENTION TO THE OPEN"
Prev day NY equity open. As I have posted here before....Prev opens give me bias as to direction...Study them long enough and you will see
Its also one of the reasons that you will see on my charts...I said Hmmm when price stalled on the DOL.I think for 20+mins....and I waited for a
candle to either close above it or below...which then gave me confidence price was moving higher and I could move my stop to BE+ etc
as oil can move like a freight train...Have to be careful with the stops...
Hope the charts help someone see frame by frame of sorts what I am doing thinking...

And as I sneak a peek at the charts...I see a large bear candle....reason I bailed at the 1030 mark was OR was finished (930-1030) and I see now would have been
stopped out on my 2 bar stop at plus 14 i believe...so now in hindsight Stops and TP played well

I had meant to post this chart right after oil inventories at 1030 NY but I guess loaded wrong chart and deleted the one I wanted to include LOL....
Anyways heres the End Of Day chart for Oil....I just wanted to point out how price behaves around the DOL....
Hindsight now we can see the entire day... But its why when I was in the trade (second pic uploaded above post)
Made me go Hmmm....and keep my eyes on the candle formations.
Once price brokethru the DOL I quickly moved stop to +10 Then once that 5m candle closed above the DOL I moved stop to +14 yada yada yada
And the other point was notice how price around 230pm NY couple long wicks into the Prev days US open area.... Somedays the Opens and next days session or even same day sessions with Asia or UK,,they don't intercede one another.... (Pay attention to the Open )
It all comes down to PA around those areas and time of day. Let alone bigger picture like day count PDH PDL etc....
Just some general thoughts on PA around different types of levels

BOOM! The Dow Jones had its 13th consecutive day of gains making it the longest positive streak for the index since 1987. Thats 36 years !
Should be interesting to see if tomorrow breaks the All Time Record!!!!!

Oh and they keep changing terms and conditions. Somehow I got to keep the worst rules and not get the best rules when they updated.

Discipline -that is your enemy and fear. Try setting your stop on a small and watching price. Go from there.
it is hard, we have all been there and still have flashbacks when trading now. No one understands you until they go from demo to real
