Hi Hans,
I have been a day trader since 2006 and have made incremental gains with losses over the years with a full time job as well as being a business owner totally non related to forex. I almost compare myself to Moty with gains and losses but enough to spoil my family with something extra. It never got me into full time trading then as I never had the capital to go big. My wife is a believer of a positive steady income and there was no way she was going to let me invest all our years of hard earned income and I thank her for that.
When I started posting in Forex factory in 2017 I had one mission and that was to trade long term. I started with 500$ not knowing where this will land me. I was totally new at long term trading and was hoping to get advise and critique from more experienced traders. I am happy to say that I have grown my account over the years which is cool for me and satisfying for my better half. I should be eligible for a pension and hope to invest more money in Forex as old age gets to me. The rigors of scalping should at one point become too much for me and long term trading is simply a security guarantee for me.
There is no fast track in forex and I am simply sharing my own experience.

GBPUSD price action on the daily time frame made a southward turnaround on Wednesday after a bullish retest of the 129800/1.30870 horizontal resistance zone (purple); a zone that was last visited in April 2022. A bearish continuation in the early part of this week may target the 1.26070 horizontal support area (blue).

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.
