Disliked{quote} Hey Pat! Now, I believe we are close to a branching point between inflation either starting to pick up again and forcing CB's to raise interest rates even further than everyone thought would be the case or either we will see a quick decline in inflation (as is the case for headline CPI last couple of Months) which will cause CB's to start cutting rates due to potential deflation around the corner. What's your opinion Pat? Is there a higher probability of inflation picking up or have CB's overtightened and we are going to witness deflation...Ignored

DislikedNot sure why people are overcomplicating the crap out of why UK CPI sold off. The more you overcomplicate it the less likely you will take advantage of the next opportunity.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Here is the simplification: UK CPI did not effect a sell off. But it is very CONVENIENT to find these two COINCIDENTAL events and convince onseself that cause-and-effect are in operation.Ignored
Disliked{quote} That's becasue when enough lines are placed on a chart and spaced closely enough together, nearly any "significant price" will be touched to give a signal. LOLIgnored

Disliked{quote} Okay... I'm not sure I understand really. So, they will keep IR high and/or raise them further while also doing QE to stimulate the economy? Am I right or? So, basically IR aren't going down near 0% even if economy slows down substantially? They will stimulate the economy if it slows down too much, but will keep IR high nonetheless?Ignored
