I believe this is more about the next debt increase the US wants to expand its global military footprint that is already getting discussed. A lower US$ promotes more tax revenue in the US, low inflation 'suggests' that the US$ isn't getting devalued 'as much' as other currencies in an effort to make their debt more attractive.Ignored
