Would much prefer a retrace to pivot before going long but im not convinced it's going to get there. Will keep an eye out for a strong green candle to enter.

...Mthly, wkly and dly R1 all within a few pips of each other just below current dly lo were all reached in early London run up to current dly/yrly/uptrend hi of 2913.

Ufff.. i can't believe this happened the said resistance held 1.29151 , i lost -24 pips due to taking short early.

...5min bullish hidden div kicking in @ current p/back lo...to the immediate upside;

a. prev 1hr sw hi zone to current dly hi of 2913 contains Mthly, Wkly and Dly R1 -this coexistent with top of a prev dly/wkly sw lo zone 2854- circa 2914.
b. 2944 Dly R2
c. 2950/51 longer term 76.4% and 38.2% fibs
d. 2972-2990 prev minor dly sw lo x 2 zone = prev supp = pot sbr, contains Wkly R2 circa 2973
e. 3020 Dly R3
f. 3060-90 prev dly minor sw hi zone = prev res = pot res.

So that was another programming mistake which costed -24 pips i would have been at trailing +2 pips at least . Those -24 pips added to my Bella's Blue Journal ( which i need to recover later ). I do have another plan but i am waiting for later time watching said resistance.

Other traders could provide hints to you if they realize something about your trading that you yourself do not realize. On NNT forum you are putting your strategy to the test. Perhaps someone will give you a hint on how you can improve perhaps they won't. However, after some time and after you post a dozen of trades, other experienced traders will definitely be able to identify the weak link in your trading if you have one. While I agree that there are many strategies, those who have found a strategy that is working aren't deviating from it and only keep repeating it. On the other hand, people who aren't profitable constantly change strategy and are trying out different things.

There are a couple of traders here that are profitable and stick to their strategy, but there is also way too much people not trading for real and/or are either not posting real time trades and do not provide a feedback on the trades taken. So, on NNT I will eliminate all useless posts.

Why don't you learn to manual trade? You'll learn more and cost you less. Just a thought.

Yesterday and in the night we had an extraordinary rise up on GBP/USD, but mainly USD got smashed. Small consolidation finished since 25 minutes on GBP/USD.
Let's see if they can keep up the pace now. I lost 2 trading days on that move up. Whipsaws are ok this morning, speaks also for selling some stuff off to gain fresh money for next move up. They still loaded lots of GBP and unloaded lots of USD, so potential quite big for more drop today.

But rally can continue. I think they hope now for more buyers to jump in. It is summer time, so there is no big counter part - which means big swings up and also big swings down (they have to close their stuff again). Lots of pros wait for better entry to buy but is not coming yet so more volatility in form of big swings coming in?

USD made fresh low against CHF, so may be more weakness to see on USD, so GBP/USD up. I just mention that because it is a critical level and has quite high impact on USD.

That would be wild to go to 1.2950 today but it is at least possible. Small consolidation finished so your entry from that perspective was fine.
Move up currently got stuck. Looks like they unload more. Not satisfied with their positions.

If price manages to climb to 1.30 before CPI, I would be wary of holding Long into CPI release.
