Time for the trapdoor to open. Unless this shows the BoE is doing the right thing to curb inflation which would reflect to the same as Fed so GU should dump?

You are confusing the merit of the data with the data impact on GU. Higher unemployment is what the government is trying to achieve with their higher interest rate policies to cool down the economy and fight inflation. They just don't want it too high.
The number is 'fairly close' to previous claimant releases. I don't believe it justifies the price spike.
Wages also increased. So we are back to MM's doing what they want and simply using the news as a spike catalyst.

For the past two days GU has 'behaved' in proper mirror form to DXY. It is never perfect but this latest spike appears very close!

Interest rate difference between BOE and Fed is what pushing GU. Traders are betting more rate hike.
Sooner than later after such massive up, it will retrace then up will resume.
More time in the market, does not mean you trade better!
