Oh of course there is. BUT, "people" have a backsliding view on themself, their worth/value, what they're capable of ... so .... that only leaves individualized de-evolution doesn't it. Of course nothing is set in stone with that stuff you speak of re: CBDC's, BUT, people believe what they want to believe without checking the full situation to even see IF there are any other options. As I said to another here, if you remove the thinking and feeling, all that's left is 'the gamble'. And if you're there, it's not irreversible BUT ...... a person's priorities would need to change. The ridiculous thing about it all really, is, people have watched far too many tv shows/movies etc that display this idea that "out there", it's all the same ... that everywhere runs on economy ideals. Your sci fi, your "history" stuff, that silly utopian/dystopian stuff. Always painting "alternates" to our society as "just the same but with small differences". So if you see that enough times, you would start "believing and accepting" that "all other options" are basically going to give you the same overall result. I have to say, it's "great marketing". For me, it's a brushfire in front of a billboard buuuut, for others they don't ask the questions that really should be asked. OR, they ask those questions afterwards. Kinda pointless at that point, apart from seeking to learn from history so it never happens again.

So all of this stuff you all find a wonderful distraction ....... is fun until "the distraction gamble" hasn't paid off.

Glad you can learn something.

I have a motto: Learn or be distracted (Learn or Don't learn a damn thing).

If someone here wants to determine how to trade the GBPUSD more succinctly, then I would suggest you do research on different types of risk. "Bias" and confluences are not risk they are personal projections and are not real. Of course you could just keep gambling but, then how do you improve if you are too focused on "profit".

Basic step one = You don't control what you're looking at therefore you don't know the outcome. Unlike usual day to day activities you perform where you know the outcome and purpose and reason. So it could be said, that maybe 5% of what you do is process while 95% is Risk just as an example. With this understanding and mindset, it's now easier to see that sites like this want people to think as gamblers rather than a person "managing their money". In the real world, if you don't KNOW the outcome and reason, then you must assume the risks are many and deep therefore hold more weight than "profit". It has nothing to do with being "negative/cynical" etc, it's about seeing the landscape.

Just my input. But if you cannot be objective then you'll believe anything.

Thankfully, price fell during Asian Session to the bottom of the Range again. Also, the gap is left behind which will have to be filled.

I wonder if these are preparations for non-farm payroll tomorrow?

My judgement could easily be clouded. I was out for a walk (1:30 am local time) and a large single engine plane flew overheard with no navigation lights. A couple of minutes later, there was the strong smell of pesticide in the air. I wondered why there were no mosquitos this year north of Toronto. I got a second dose as I finished my walk.

Definitely preparation for big events. Market should move today with the red news from dollar.
3 days of ranging market.
Rarely happens unless there's upcoming major news.

Meanwhile, I'm waiting for GU to break 1.272 to go up. If not then down to 1.265
