And here it comes: the famous withholding of information or the braindead oversimplification of it making it useless.

Atleast ICT offers strategy and an explaination on when and why price moves, instead of a hundreds of years old market model that is more misleading to new traders than anything else.

The USD component of GU and EU supplies the positive correlation.

If you lose the market maker wins. They set up an trade in the opposite direction of yours(a hedge) due to statistically retail traders make bad trades and 80% lose.
Also since this can sometimes lead to zerosum for them they really need the spread to survive, this is why they are engaged in uour trading since they want u to make as many trades as possible.

Imagine if you make 3000 trades in a year and the spread is 1 pip, that’s 3000ips for them +your failure rate.

This is also why they are here promoting faulty trading or fanciness, cause they want to make impulsiveness a conditioned response.
They never give anyone an edge. Their goal is as many transactions and losses as possible cause that requires the least amount of work.

On the other side is the winning trader which may require supervision from staff, is copy-traded and gives away less spreads. This kind of person is a nuisance to brokers due to the time involved and the money lost if that traders goes on a big trade and loses. It is an statistical outlier but can quickly eat up the brokers account due to the leverage involved.
