How do others see these BOE minutes? Is my reading of the report wrong?
From what I gather all 9 members voted for 25 point hike but none voted for a 50 base point hike, however there was discussion over a 50 point hike. 9-0 did not come as surprise to me or lots of others after a letter having to be sent to Gordan Brown due to inflation above 3%.
In my view this means that market was correct in pricing just one rate hike in, fears of another rate hike this month may be eased as no one voted for 50. Key reports coming up will be inflation if they dont look to be going lower then we will see a bullish market as another rate hike will be on the cards
So in meantime im still bearish

After a 9-0 it can't even put a new intraday high. No need for 9900. Just a new intraday high as to say "Hey, I'm alive"!!
