I second that....stop with the off topic charts. This thread is for the cable. Learn to respect the forum and it's fellow posters. You sound like a snake oil salesman trying to puff up your preferred method and bash other methods.

USD index and GBP/USD only please. Too much clutter otherwise. Thanks.

Other markets are related but this is mainly a Cable thread so although what GBP/EUR etc etc might have some bearing it can get to chart overload.

This thread is for cable...not all USD pairs...just cable. Please respect the forum and the other posters here. You want to post any chart you want? Start your own thread and you can post everything you want.

When you post that all you need is Elliot waves and nothing else is any good or of no value you are putting down alot of posters here. There have been countless traders who have for years been successful without the help of Elliot waves, myself included. So you can praise the system you are using all you want and nobody will have any issue with you but when you put down other methods in a forum such as this where people come to learn and teach all methods you are disrespecting others.

This thread isn't about which method is better, it's about our opinions and analysis of the gbp/usd. You want to trumpet Elliot waves and bash other methods start your own thread.

You can posture that you are innocently stating your own opinion and being attacked because we don't agree with you or like you or however you want to spin it so you can sleep at night but the reality is you are attacking others with your self absorbed postings by belittling their efforts through methods other than the one of your preference.

Sometimes I wish I had one system that I prefered over another. All I know for sure is that I've been short G/U since 08:30 and haven't seen even 1 pip come my way. Would you hold onto this position? or cut and run?

i was short at 9725, closed and went long at 9739 and got out at break even for the day

you need a plan when to exit a trade, sometimes we have to assume losses b4 they get out of control... but it dependes on your system, time frame etc.

If it is a daytrade and you are in since early in the day and not in profit, there is only one thing left to do. Guess?

Not sit and wait. That more times than not brings a losing trade.

The G/U price seems to be at a place where it could go either way. My broker moved my entry up to .9745 and took $15 dollars. I have a stop 50 pips above, so I'll hang around until the noose get too tight or I see the price back at .9700.

In my point of view I think that cablw will reach tommorow a high of 1.9780, and a low of 1.9706, it might exceed the high and the low I mentioned here, but at least it will reach both prices that I mentioned above, if it reached the high, I'm short from this price

I was in the same short. But I cut and ran, if the market doesn't do what your system is telling you, I've found it's often better to just move on. You can't force it, it either happens or it doesn't. When I'm playing the 1hour chart like I was if it doesn't make a decent move in the direction I was projecting within 30minutes to an hour it likely will not. If it does move after you get out you might miss a few pips, but at that point it's just as likely to take off against you. And I would rather miss a few pips then lose them.
