Anyone who is interested in trying this ma setup I have been testing for trend momentum. I’m usin two ma of the same period with both using typical price but one will be a smooth moving average and one will be linear weighted. It prints really interesting results using a fast and slow ma of the same period.

A bit underwhelming day. I did not expect a 0.5% hike, and looking at yesterday's inflation report, the sectors driving the inflation don't get affected by the rate hikes anyway. It might be a policy mistake, but we'll see that in the coming months.
As far as the report, it's all hawkish.
US data is mixed, but considering the divergence between the FED and market pricing, the risk is definitely to the upside for the USD. So there is a bullish case for both currencies.
Luckily, we're getting good reports tomorrow that could trigger sizeable moves. If the data comes in stronger for the UK, the GBPUSD will catch up to the yield spread quickly, but weaker data can easily ignite recession fears and spark debate about whether the 0.5% hike was the correct decision. In the US, stronger print and the markets will start believing the FED will hike again.

We can see that 0.5 was without action, this is the reality, the explanation is not important. What will be tomorrow, we can see only tomorrow, if we keep the eyes open
