Longer-term trend reversal better be viewed on the swissy. It's an obvious and perfect horizontal channel or a rectangle. The upper border is the next target.

Ahahaha.... that's funny. I'd rather be the balloonatic than the scientist. I often compare religious beliefs or not and trading strategies. So much of what people believe as 'true' about their belief system on trading is held in such a regard as heresy if you oppose it. It's like the church of pip. Seeking blessing from st fibonacci. Ok. I elaborate. It's just a case of mistaken identity. The fact that marketwavez drew some lines didn't make the pattern what he wanted it to be. Real diamonds supposed to be rhombs containing two parts put together: a broadening triangle followed by a normal one. If you look for one in his pattern you are not going to find any.

Easy. Here is the one on EUR/USD. Single-diagonaled one like the one you have tried to present. But in such patterns break out always occur in the direction opposite to the direction of the longest diagonal.

Hi there , I am very appreciative of what you have to say ....

but looks there are others that don't want to see charts
they want to see words on a page to discuss the markets

They don't want to see Visually what's happening in the markets .....

This is what I mean on "fundis":

Those gentlemen are not going to talk about diamonds, waves, overbought, oversold. Paulson is not going to tell the Chinese: "Hey buddies, you gotta cut Yuan lose, you know? USD-index is too oversold in the weekly"

I see CLEARLY what's happening in the markets, man. What I don't believe is that MARKET MOVERS / policy makers / funds / banks and all trades because "there are diamonds poping up here and there". That's all... Patterns emerge from the moves. It is not the moves that move to form the patterns.

One freaking Chinese investor pressing the wrong button and all techinical analyses are flushed out. Check February, or was there HUGE technicals tellin'ya that "China is going to screw with the worldwide stock market about....... NOW!"?????
